Dr. Asare is a professional engineering consultant who provides technical expertise, engineering design & management services in water resources, agricultural and environmental projects for private and governmental organizations worldwide. He had his master’s and Ph.D. in water Resources and Environmental Engineering from the University of Guelph, Canada, and B. Sc in Agricultural Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Kumasi, Ghana.
Dr. Asare has over 30 years consulting experience where he specializes in irrigation, agricultural and roadway drainage, watershed management, soil erosion, and sediment control. He has extensive experience in the development and application of soil and water conservation systems, watershed hydrology, hydraulics, and environmental management. His expertise also includes project and program planning, design, implementation and management in agricultural, natural resource management, and environmental compliance infrastructures. Dr. Asare is also skilled in the development, (design implementation and management) of soil and water conservation technologies that are appropriate for climate smart agriculture and natural resources management. He has been providing technical expertise in these areas for clients in Africa (Ghana & South Africa); North America (Canada & USA); Asia (Singapore); and the Middle East (Saudi Arabia).
